Brown Sugar Challenge No 52

Love is the theme this week at Brown Sugar and I got to play with a cute design from QKR Stampede called In Love, which can be found HERE.   Coloured with copic and touch pens, I used some papers from Megs Garden called The Romantic Garden .  They were in a 6x6 paper stack.  I often find that this size is a bit big, so I can up with a card that is 3 x 6 tri fold.  Definitely making some more this size.

C&S Celebration

A celebration is called for at Simon Monday Challenge, I decided on celebrating the birth of a little baby boy, now I wonder where that idea came from?  I made it clean and simple, coloured the image with copics and added stickers, keeping away from the traditional blue I went with cream and green. The image is called Baby's Smile by A Day for Daisies and can be found HERE

A little bit of this, A little bit of that leads to....

As anyone that has had a look at this blog before knows, I love working with small projects.  ATCs and Fat Pages are ideal for me to create little scenes and collage.  But wait, there can be more and there is, keep reading.

First I started with a cute image from Robyns Fetish - Christie Angel which you can find HERE

Then came the challenges:
WICKED WEDNESDAY ATC CHALLENGE NO 94 - CHRISTMAS IN JULY.
You get to have a sneak peak at what is coming up at Wicked Wednesday. So you can think ahead about what you are going to do each week.  Great Idea.

Coloured with Copic and Touch pens, mounted on different coloured cardstock and lots of glitter, even on her little face, but then whats Christmas without glitter.  The tree and stars are 3D stickers, parts stick down and other parts can be bent to where you want them (hope that makes sense)
Close up of Tree Sticker
Then came the next challenge
ROBYNS FETISH CHALLENGE NO 169 - CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Now with a couple more trees and some bits and pieces from my stash I got this little Christmas Card

Inside
But wait I did say there was more!
613 AVENUE CREATE CHALLENGE 29 - CREATE A MATCHING ENVELOPE FOR YOUR CARD

With the help of my wonderful envelope make, mer doing measurements after measurements, I was able to print the Angel on a sheet of card, colour the image and make an envelope from the sheet of paper to match my card, adding a little Christmas tree as well.

The theme for Challenge No 6 at Fat-Tastic Tuesday is Beach.  This is my little fat page for inspiration week. a cute image from Doodle Gardens called Littletle Seahorse, which you can find HERE.

Coloured with Copic Pens. Blue is my favourite colour and I thought I would use that predominently in this page.  I did this one when I got back from a South Pacific Island holiday where we stayed right on the beach with the waves gently coming in all night.  Added lots of pearls and crystal bling to represent the waves at the beach.

Brown Sugar Challenge No 50

Brown Sugar Challenge this week is Shades of Blue.  My all time favourite colour.  I got to play with two very different artists images this week, so two very different cards.

The first one shows an image from Delicious Doodle "In the Harbour", which you can find HERE

I have used watercolopur pencils to colour the image, adding clouds as I went.  The inside shows the same image, but this time I only coloured the wooden parts of the boats.
Scroll down for the next card!!!!!!

The second card has a Sassy Studio Design called "Sassy Showgirl" which you can find HERE.  This time I used Copic and Touch pens, all blues of course, gave her shoes a touch of glitter and mounted the image on some sparkling bubble paper.  The little sentiments have been created with a font called "Cocktail Bubbly"

Summer Faerie

This cute little image was the inspiration for my fat page. Due to the amount of hours I have had to work this week, sadly crafting has had to take a huge backward step and I only managed 3 projects this week.  This one is entered into a few different challenges, listed below all asking for something different.  'Summer Faerie' which is by Rick St Dennis can be found HERE.
The image has been coloured with Copic and Touch Pens, a flower added to her hair, glossy accents on her wand, swirls coming from her wand  also have stickles as does her gown and wings.  I have followed a sketch from Pattie at Fat-tastic Tuesday where you can find a new fat page challenge every fortnight, this sketch was from their second challenge.

My completed fat page

Crafters Cafe Challenge No 19

The Crafters Cafe has now gone to a weekly challenge, the theme this week is Anything Goes.  My card is a Christmas one, cute image from Rick St Dennis called 'We Three Geese' and can be found HERE.  Coloured with copic and touch pens, and added bling, liquid pearls and kindy glitter for the crowns.  I started with white cardstock for the card and then distressed with different gold/pearl inks, then decided it wasn't exactly what I wanted, so I layered image on some coloured cardstock and green patterned paper, placing it so that it looked like they were following the star.   When I placed it on the inked card, something was missing, so I carefully put the card in the printer, crossed my fingers that I had it lined up correctly and typed in the sentiment.  Now I was happy.

Garden Inspiration

The paper shelter this week has a photo of a beautiful garden for inspiration with lots of pinks, purples, greens, red, brown and beige colouring.  The garden is really pretty and I am always fascinated by what people see in photos.  For me this time, I saw a wall at the back of the garden, now surely something is growing on it!

I used some patterned cardstock to make the card, the inset is to show the inside of the card.
Back and small inset is inside pattern
On the front of the card, I have layered kraft paper and an image called garden wall, which I have coloured with Copic and Touch pens and also coloured pencils.  I have added some small leaves abnd flowers, some bling, ribbon and a simple sentiment.
